Hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Ningbo Municipal People’s Government, China International Electronic Products & Electronical Household Appliances Fair has been held for three consecutive years. It is an influential export-oriented Electronic Products & Electronical Household Appliances Fair which ranks top 3 in expositions of electronics industry in China. It is also been honored as one of “China 100 Best Exhibitions”.
According to the entry-exit management rules during the Olympic Game and some difficulties that foreign trade enterprises were facing, the 4th China International Electronic Products & Electronical Household Appliances Fair worked for helping enterprises occupy the domestic market. The theme of the fair also changed from “export oriention” to “increasing intermal trade, paying attention to both domestic and foreign trade”.
In this exhibition, 2000 international standard booths were set in the exposition area of 40000 sqm. The fair was divided into five display areas as follows: home appliances area, home appliance parts area, IT products area, washing-machines area and home appliance shopping festival area. It was the first time to hold this festival, products of 10 famous brand and 40 other brands were displayed there to make the citizens in the expo purchase easily and promote the domestic trade.
Washing-machines area was specially set in order to give prominence to the specialty of this fair. Midea and other well-known brands were displayed in the exhibition. Meanwhile, because of thecost increasement and intense competition in washing machine industry, the second (Ningbo) round table meeting about the development of washing machine would be conducted, many domestic &foreign experts and people in the washing machine industry would be invited to discuss the development of washing machine industry.
Lots of purchaser participated in the fair and according to statistics, 5077 travelling merchants from 23 foreign countries and 19 provinces in China negociated on the fair about purchasing the products. During the conference held in International Trade Center, 7 purchasing missions from America, Russia, United Arab Emirates and other countries discussed about trans-national purchase with more than 40 household appliances enterprises. Some of them have reached a priliminary intent on cooperation. |
