Exhibition Introduction:
China Yiwu International Commodities Fair is the only intenational consumer goods fair approved by State Council. The predecessor is China Yiwu Commodities Fair founded in 1995. In 2002, it was upgraded to an international fair hosted by Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China. Since now, it has been successfully held for 13 times. The Fair, based on the principle of “welcoming the whole world, serving the whole nation”, has pushed forward the export of goods and the regional economic development. It is the largest, most influential, and most effective consumer goods fair and is also the third largest fair only after Canton Fair and East China Fair. It has been honored as Chinese Top 10 News Events of 2002, Chinese Top 10 New Exhibitions of 2003, Chinese Best Government-orientated Exposition of 2004, Chinese Best Management Exposition of 2005, Chinese Top 10 Most Influencial Exposition of 2006. In the fair of 2008, there were 363 booths set for 160 overseas enterprises who participated in the fair. Those overseas enterprises were from 14 countries and regions as follows: HongKong, TaiWan, MaCao, Korea, France, Malaysia, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, Austria, Moscow, Japan, America and the Philippines. |
