IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS merge to become IE expo
• Munich International Trade Fairs and Shanghai ZM International
Exhibition Co., Ltd are developing their own brand with IE expo
• The first IE expo will take place from 7 - 9 March, 2012 in the Shanghai
New International Expo Centre
• Online registration starts on 21 September
Munich International Trade Fairs and Shanghai ZM International Exhibition Co. Ltd
are taking their collaboration to the next level and developing their own branded
event: In this context IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS is merging to become IE expo.
The reorganization with the new, succinct trade fair name underlines the partners¡¯
closer collaboration on China's leading environmental trade fair.
The first IE expo will take place from 7 to 9 March, 2012 in the Shanghai New
International Centre (SNIEC). Starting on 21 September, interested companies can
register online for the International Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Refuse, Recycling
and Natural Energy Sources at www.ifat-china.com. Registration closes on 15
February 2012.
A total of 725 exhibitors from 25 countries and more than 22,000 visitors from 75
countries took part in the last IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS in spring 2011; the
trade fair occupied 35,000 square meters of exhibition space.
About IE expo
Messe M¨¹nchen International and the trade fair company Shanghai ZM International
Exhibition Co. are developing a separate brand event: IFAT CHINA + EPTEE + CWS will
become IE expo. The reorganization with the new, succinct trade far name will emphasize
the cooperation between the partners regarding the joint product. The first IE expo will take
place from 7 to 9 March, 2012 in the Shanghai New International Centre (SNIEC). A total of
